Best way to sync desktop and laptop...

Pretty simple question... everything I've found on Apple's site appears to be .Mac or iSync. I just want to be able to automatically sync certain directories on my laptop with directories on my desktop, like where I store my websites.

What's the best way to do this apart from manually copying?

SyncTogether and ChronoSync are two good options. If you want to get a little crazy, hook Automater up to RsyncX along with SSH.
