~~~Best way to swap a GF3 to an ATI video card in my box~~~

Need to change my video cards tonight to see if a ATI 8500 video card I got in trade works I currently have a GF3 in there. I DO NOT want to reformat. run detonator destroyer then hook up the 8500 and install driver disk? I know I can do it but I just what to know what you all think

On a related note, there has been problems with swapping from an Nvidia based card to an ATi solution, about windows and driver stability, but since you are only testing it I doubt it should have a presence, but I hear the ATi drivers start messing up when there is traces of Detonators leftover on the system. However if you go back to your GF3 there shouldn't be that problem.
