Okay, so I have my Master's Level Accounting final tomorrow. The professor says its open book, notes, etc.

So, how is the best way to "study" for an open-book exam?

Know the broad topics and where the subject details are located. Be able to find the answers quickly? Is that a no brainer or what?

I hope yours was better than mine.

maybe tab some of the more important pages so they are easy to find/go to. Have notes well organized.

Go through the material and create a note sheet for quick reference. Put flags on important tables or figures in the book. Good luck.

Make an outline so you are able to quickly find the section where the answer could be.

summarize each section of the book in your own words and put it on a seperate piece of paper....................if this is a comprehensive final, bring your old exams.

Know what the instructor is planning to put on the test. Be familiar with the material, and know where to find answers quickly if you need to look them up. Know what parts of the exam will be from the textbook(s) and what parts from the lecture notes. Make sure you have good notes. Get plenty of sleep.
