Best way to store video files and display on a TV?

I stream 1080i broadcast without issues over my 10/100 network. I think I have done some short 28mbps trailers across my network with 5.1 sound without any issue. It will be more the capability of the machine receiving the feed rather than the network bandwidth. (Of course, I tried wireless with no luck, only hardwired worked for me).

Yes, I have 3x1tb drives in my PC and stream 1080p via cat5 to my Popcorn Hour A-110 with absolutely no problems.
Even very high bitrate, direct BD rips (.m2ts files w/ TrueHD/DTS-MA)
