Best way to stop sunburn peeling?

I went to the Michigan game last Saturday, and my forehead got sunburned. Now, it's starting to peel a little bit. What's the best way to keep this under control? I have Noxzema, regular hand lotion, rubbing alcohol, water, and bar soap in my bathroom as possible ingredients.

Thanks! 🙂

Viper is correct. Exfoliate gently, and use moisturizer to help cover it up until it all peels off.

Yeah, I think I figured it out - took a shower, and gently rubbed my face with a washcloth and soap, and then applied some Noxzema. Much better. 🙂

If it's starting to peel, then just slowly rub your hand or a warm washcloth over it while you are in the shower. Areas that aren't peeling will hurt more if you tear that skin from them.

When you peel, that is a sign that the skin below the burnt skin has properly grown in, so if you aren't peeling in a certain area, that means that the skin below is tender and is still not ready to be exposed to all the junk floating around in the air and whatnot, and will be VERY sensative.
