Best way to stay awake for 48 hours?

My agenda for the next 48 hours:
Friday
7:00am - Wake up for School
11:00am - Get out of School
12:00pm - Lunch with friends
4:30pm - Get dressed for prom
5:00pm - Pick up prom date
5:30pm - Meet at prom-limo group
6:00pm - 11:00pm - Prom Dance

Saturday
12:00am - 5:00am - Post-Prom Party
12:00pm - Lunch with friend
1:00pm - Town Fair Day
4:00pm - 9:00pm - Work

Basically, the only time that I'll be able to squeeze in some sleep is after Post-Prom Sat morning through Lunch Sat @ noon. I may be able to squeeze in an hour or two before the prom as well. Besides that, what's the best method to stay awake for 2 days?

you better take some short nap, then drink coffee and make sure you get your showers, maybe more than twice a day! keep yourself busy and you should be allright. But tell you what, looking at your schedule, i think you have plenty of time.
 
I would try to squeeze in some short naps along the way

Not getting any sleep will make you cranky and lightheaded

True story: Couple weeks ago, a kid was killed in a car accident cause he fell asleep at the wheel of his car driving home from the prom. This is in SoCal btw.

 
what the hell are you talking about, you easily have 6 or 7 hrs for sleep on saturday morning. i feel lucky if i get 6. please...
 
huh? you have a 5am to 12pm gap. that's plenty of sleep. i rarely get 6-7 hours of sleep during finals week.
 
I may have plans to do stuff early that morning though...not confirmed but maybe grab some breakfast at a diner and do some other stuff...not confirmed though. We'll see 🙂

i regularly get a low-down at hour 24-26, then a state of full alert and clearnes from 28-30 and from then on it's all way down... after 36 i'm more asleep than awake...

i would suggest to drink red bull and keep yourself bussy. if you are bored for some time after hour 30 it's gonna be really hard, then get somebody to slap you (if you are not into s/m)
 
I get 4 1/2 hours sleep each night. If I'm lucky I can grab a half hour nap in the afternoon. I don't want to hear it.

not only that, but unless I am counting wrong, you are going from 7am to 9pm t he following day. That is only 38 hours, not 48. When you go to college you will no doubt have many 38 straight hour stints without sleep, so it shouldn't be a big deal for someone your age.
 
If you want to stay awake grab an 8-ball of coke. That should be enough to keep you awake for two nights.
 
I don't know dude, it looks kind of like a rough schedule, but there appears to be time in between things to allow for a few naps which with the other sleep should be adequate without much trouble.
 
Keep taking cocaine derivatives like Adderall or Ritalin consecutively... I'm I have been awake for 39 hours so far by taking Adderall every 14-18 hours... of course its not good for you but if you need to stay awake (and alert) for a long period of time its the best thing to do. Just don't push 72 hours because have 72 hours you will go insane... no joke...
 
Two words. Go out and get some No-Doz that stuff will keep you awake, a little jittery but awake.
 
Find a friend with ADD and get some of his adderal. 10MG is good for 8 hours. When you feel tired, take some.
