So a user at another forum is in need of a certain SCSI card, which I happen to have. Being the nice guy I am, I'm offering to sell it. Thing is, he lives in Italy. I don't have his mailing address yet but I'm sure I will tomorrow. What's the most cost effective way(s) to send this to him, out of USPS, DHL, FedEx, or UPS, or any other options? Thanks! :)

USPS Global Express Mail (EMS) tends to be pretty cheap, if he can wait, USPS Airmail is even cheaper!

Thanks. Also open to other advice :)

Joony is right. USPS Global Express Mail (EMS) is the best way to do it. I sent a video card to Italy last Spring and that's how I sent it. Customs in Italy seems to be a bit slow though.

Best way to ship to Italy?

You just dont.
Hate to say it but your just asking for trouble when you ship out of your country. I know your wanting to help and make a sale but most of the time its more hassle then its worth IMO.
If it gets lost or take a long time the other party starts screaming troll at you and just starts all kinds of hell. I did it one time, and will never do it again. Took almost 4 weeks to get there and after a week they were demanding money back and oh how I took them because they lived in another country, and all kinds of other BS, when it finally showed up and they say the date it shipped all I got was "Im sorry". For me that one time was enough to say the hell with it no matter what it doesnt leave the US.

Thanks funboy and everyone else, your advice is duly noted. I'm aware of the risk, I think I'll take this chance.

Airmail Letter Post or Airmail Parcel Post look really good :)

I've shipped items out of the country several times using USPS Global Express Mail and I haven't had a problem yet. *knocks on wood* Don't skimp on shipping.
