Best way to ship a 7.5kg package to the States from Canada?

Canada Post/USPS is the easiest and best way. No nasty $40 fees for "brokerage agent" crap that UPS pulls. I moved up to Canada in May, as a landed immigrant, and that gives me 3 months to ship my personal effects up, duty free, and UPS STILL charged me that $40 even though there was no duty or other customs fees being charged. They said that they had to assign someone to verify it, and I had to yell for about half an hour on the phone to get them to drop the fee.

So yeah, stick with Canada Post.
