Best way to ship a $500.00+ Money Order/Cashiers Check?

What's the best to keep you covered "just in case" the envelope gets lost in the mail?

Registered Mail w/Delivery Confirmation and Insurance would be $10.85 but I want to know if it's necessary.

How would you send a high priced Money Order and feel pretty safe that the reciever of it won't give excuses that he did'nt get it, etc....... and that if something were to happen, you'd get your maoney back fairly quickly?

i would go with something with real tracking, so UPS or FedEx flat rate/small overnight with insurance

put it in a padded envelope and throw in some peanuts to make it at least 3/4" in thickness...tape it really good...and put delivery confirmation on it through USPS.

What's Real Tracking? Never heard of this. Is the way I posted sufficient though?

As for the other post above talking about scamming.......... I'd like to have my arse covered. I've yet to get scammed in 5 years so this is mooey importante'

real tracking is what ups or fedex does, you can see where the package is all the time

USPS doesn't have real tracking because they have no idea where your package is, even if they don't lose it

No paypal accepted. I'm like that way sometime if I have money in my PP acct. and sometimes want a Money Order.

If you want "real tracking" then send it FedEx for about the same price as your USPS Registered w/ DC.

Why bother with any of this, though??! Just drop five Benjies in a plain envelope and slap a stamp on it.

do they ship fed ex to Nigeria? 🙂

The way I suggested with the padded envelope is the cheapest way to ship something with delivery confirmation attached (about 90 cents). Of course fed ex with tracking is better...with the cost of $21.00 to ship it.

USPS Priority Mail w/ minimum insurance.

They will have to sign for the document.

You can also do this with regular mail - just depends on if you needto save a couple of days in transist.

The MO is safe, especially if you get it from the PO. To forge a USPS MO becomes a Federal fraud case and Uncle loves to ream such people.
