I have an old Dell monitor that I want to sell locally. I put it on Letgo and set price as negotiable. I got no offer. I typically do not sell locally but I simply don't have any box to ship the monitor.

Is Letgo the "go to" app for selling local goods or should I also double post on Craigslist

These days Facebook groups are probably the most popular, so check if there are any buy/sell groups for your city.

In my city we also have a website that's been around forever and probably has never been updated since and the moderation is crap, but for some reason it seems to be the goto place still. Varies per city basically so you'd have to check what you have locally.

Kijiji/Craigstlist might be an option too.

The last couple of times I had to sell something to large to ship I just used Craigslist. Listed them and met at a busy gas station to make the sale. I've only sold one electronic device on Craigslist and it was an Asus Eee PC which is basically a netbook and did the same thing. Listed it and made the sale at a busy gas station. Worked out great all times.

I don't even understand how Craigslist was not your first thought. And what reason could there possibly be for not listing something on two different local selling sites?
