Best way to secure poster/wall scrolls to drywall?

I'm wondering how you guys handle this. I have tried balling tape on the back, which tends to rip off the paper when I remove it, I've tried taping clear tape directly on the top but also rips off chunks. Keep in mind this is drywall, so I think tacks are out of the question (strong wind blows through my house, I don't want it to catch on a poster, and rip off a chunk of drywall :Q). Currently, I have a wall scroll up, and although it comes with a hanging string on top, I have it masking taped on 4 corners . Am I SOL or are there some hidden techniques I don't know about?

Buy a cheap poster frame. Under $10 at Wal-Mart and it does the job. So long as you don't mind putting a nail or screw in your wall anyway.

For wallscrolls, a stud finder and a nail. Thumbtacks are usually strong enough to hold up regular sized ones.

For posters, I buy poster hangers. Variants of those are found everywhere. Slide on the plastic and you're good to go. Its heavy enough to weigh down a poster to keep it straight. The top one has a string so you hang it up in the same way you would a wallscroll.

trying to avoid hammering things into my wall... the frame might be good if it's light enough for me to tape on to the wall.

Use 3M command adhesive strips. They'll hold a fair amount of weight.
