Best way to save money?

How do you guys manage to save money and resist impulse buying?

I quit drinking so much coffee. Last year I drove 15 miles out of my way every day so I could get my fix at my favorite spot. So that saves me...let's see...$3.00 for the 4-shot Americano + 1 gal. of fuel@ $1.71. Damn near $5 every day!

I've never bought anything from there. It's all stupid crap like free cans of root beer or things that I don't need like printers.

Yeah. There are things like SCSI drives and host adapters, racks, registered memory, and things like that. Things I can use in my computer. A hot deal on PC98493273 memory doesn't do it for me.
