In many of the Hot Deals threads a reference is made to pricematching at Staples, using a coupon, getting free shipping, getting a discount through EBates, etc. The purpose of this thread is to consolidate information on which online retailers offer which policies so that a buyer can find the best deals on anything, not just specific items that are posted to this forum.

So far I've found that Staples.com, OfficeDepot.com, OfficeMax.com, Buy.Com and CompUSA.com offer online pricematching, although CompUSA's policy is limited to companies they select. Who else?

Outpost.com, Amazon.com. I know there are others. Who and under what conditions?

Actually have you ever visited the Hot Deals forum? If he posts his question in there, he'll have his head bit off. People in there circle around looking for newbie posts and jump on them if they don't follow the rules.

To make this on topic, I think sears.com also offers pricematching.
 
Indeed it was. I was given a WARNING by the Mod and told not to post this "dribble" anymore. I kinda wonder if he meant "drivel"...
 
buy.com also does pricematching, but only with most of the larger e-tailers. i don't know about ebates, look for coupons at fatwallet and dvdtalk. many places have coupons for free shipping.

don't let the hot deals forum scare you. i used to go there a lot but the good deals are really starting to dry up, directly resulting in increased hostility, which you seem to have found out.

I totally agree with you.. that's when I discover the OT fourm 😉 now I am here more now instead keep hitting fresh at the Hot Deal fourm. People are a lot nicer here 😉
 
Outpost.com only has free air shipping for orders over $100 in case ya didn't notice that. I think they changed it to that within the past couple months.

Onvia has has free shipping again (ground).

Great advice, I totally agree. Besides most people who know the basics of Hot Deals and where to find coupons, incentives web sites (eBates, Dash, etc.) already know all of this and more.
