Best way to save items in a Amazon shopping cart as like a list so you remember them ? Without actually keeping them in the cart forever

I didn't know about Amazon lists. Where is that?

Near the top right, where it says "Hello, [Name]
Accounts & Lists"
Under "Your Lists & Registry" there's an option to create a list (and I think there's a wish list by default)

I uses both lists and save for later.

For waiting for a price drop, use the browser extension "Camel Camel Camel", it shows you price history for any item, lets you set alerts, and will email you when your chosen price targets are met.
