Best way to safely remove a Super Orb heatsink?

Going to get my PEP soon and this super orb (as good looking as it gets) has to go. Besides, the fans are not working and I am looking for a quiet 60mm for the PEP.

How do I go about removing the Super Orb and installing the PEP66t?

Push down on the clip, and use a screwdriver to widen it on the bottom. On the other side, move slowly and very carefully.
I would tape the capacitors.

I just removed the MB when I replace mine....That clip was a PITA!!! Kinda paranoid about damaging the MB....Only took about 15-20 minutes for me but better safe than sorry
