Best way to RMA an Epox Motherboard

I have an Epox 8RDA+ m/b that I purchased 6 months ago from NewEgg and it seems to have died an untimely death. I have emailed Epox tech support and gone throught the normal troubleshooting procedures to no avail. What is the best way to approach this RMA?
I received this email from Epox:

Before attempting RMA (warranty service) directly with the manufacturer we suggest to contact your original dealer for assistance with the quickest possible replacement or exchange. Otherwise, please follow the directions below to request RMA-repair.

For RMA-repair we need your dated invoice by email or fax (ATTN: EPoX Tech). Our fax is 888-852-6758. Also we need your address, phone, and S/N (if not included previously).

Direct warranty repair with EPoX is per manufacturer policy (repair only with 2-3 week turnaround min). Modifications performed on the board by non-EPoX employees will result rejection of warranty repair (void warranty). All boards are check for end-user modifcations - if found warranty is void.

Preferably I'd like to do a warranty swap where we cross ship one. I really don't want to wait 3 weeks for them to repair it. Has anyone dealt with this before and how did you approach it?

Thanks for your help!

Send email to newegg about your problem. See what they say. They are the dealer so it is their responsibility to RMA the board.

Fill out their online rma form, and ship it by fedex or ups. Newegg will get you a new board in about 6- 8 days. They don't test anything. Just send them a copy of your invoice, or at least have the number so they can look it up. You shouldn't have any problems with newegg. Or if you prefer, they might give you a refund less 15% and let you select another board. Give them a call.

Hmmmmm.....Do you think they'll do that?!!? That would be sweeeet! Would it be worth it to try to upgrade to an 8RDA3+?

newegg is great, and unless when you bought the board it stated exchange for exact item only, you should have no problems sending it in as a defective return and putting all but %15 of that boards price towards another one, if nothign else youll easily (and quickly) get another board from them once you return yours

newegg owns

I may have to RMA an 8RDA+ to NewEgg for the second time any day now. They sent a board that looked new to me but it is flaky in ways that the original board wasn't. :( I hope the third time is a charm.

It couldn't hurt to try. See if you can pay your way to an upgrade.

Seems as if I never updated this..... NewEgg worked their magic once again. I talked to a Customer Service Rep and was able to get a full refund on my 8RDA+ and I purchased an ABIT NF7-S in return....Basically an even swap because they refunded my full original price. You just can't beat NewEggs customer service! My only out of pocket expense was the cost to ship the original board back to them. SWEET!
