Best way to remove the 2pin power molex from a 7900GT

I am trying to replace the stock cooler and I'm having trouble in taking out the power connector? Is there an efficient way to get it out because i'm afraid that I might snap off the whole thing. Thanks.
 
just pull

there is a tab/edge on the connector to pull on, medium force needed, you wont break the thing.
