Best way to remove soap scum from eye glasses?

I have soap scum all over my eye glasses. I clean my glasses with barsoap and now there is a film all over them. I started to scrape it off with my fingernail but this taking to long. Is there a easy way to remove the soap scum without scratching the glasses?

Maybe try some windex or rubbing alcohol.

OK, not to be a dick BUT why on Earth would you use bar soap to clean your glasses?

I use rubbing alcohol on a bit of toilet paper or Kleenex and wipe my glasses off with that. Works great to get oil and smudges off. Just don't use Kleenex that has lotion in it or you'll just end up smudging your glasses even more.

They say you can go blind doing that. I guess the glasses protect your eyes?
