i dont have a punch or anything that small here, i have a pocket knife, and pens/pencils

do the pins come out the way of the arrow, or do i push from the side the arrow points?

need to remove one link in an "ok" watch.

I haven't seen ones with arrows. My fossil watches work both ways. I just use a small pointed object...sometimes a small paperclip will work to get it slightly out, then needle nose to pull it the rest of the way.

Some watches are really really hard and you need a special tool.

Agree, last time I bought a watch I took it to JC Penney to have some links removed and they didn't charge me anything to do it.
