The best way to reduce crime is to lighten the laws. If the laws weren't so intricate and complicated, then many people wouldn't have trouble following them.

Also, though I choose to be un-armed, I still believe that a person should be able to arm himself. Though there are some whackos, MOST people are generally nice and well-meaning. Gun laws should be enforced better. New laws don't mean anything if the old ones aren't enforced.

Right...
If we have no laws, nothing we do can be a crime
so no laws => no crime!

By this logic the way to completely eliminate crime is to eliminate all laws.

Actually, the alternative is to eliminate all potential criminals. Since all humans are capable of crime, we should eliminate all humans.
