I am going to upgrade the hs/f on my GF2 GTS 64 mb. Am hoping to squeeze the core a little higher (225 maybe). Wondering what the best method of re-attaching the hs/f is?

I have seen some people putting standard heatsink compound on it and then dabbing four little drops of super glue on each corner to secure it.

I have also heard people using thermal tape.

What is the best suggestion? I need something both easy and reliable. can't have it giving out on me later.

Thanks.

use the four corners and paste method, itll do your GPU a lot better than just thermaltape. course that method is messy sometimes..ive personally tried both methods on my old geforce 1 and the thermal paste and superglue kept the gpu cooler and allowed it to clock higher as well. in the end its up to you, id rather overclock the memory instead, thats where the benefit will come to you the most. add some ramsinks to it and you are set.
