I suppose it is good to at least be aware of cookies, if not purge them every now and then, correct? What do you use? Do you dump all of them, or try to keep ones that are helpful for favorite site?

I block third party cookies. Sometimes if I'm bored, I'll selectively delete cookies from list, all manually.

IMO, you're too paranoid if you are blocking or deleting cookies. I really don't care that I googled something and now Amazon pushes it on me on their front page. Who cares? Sure, they're tracking me, so if I was searching for child porn i'd have a problem. But I'm searching for everyday crap that nobody cares about.

Purging cookies every so often doesn't really do much. You've had them for a long time and you're just going to get them again.

If you care about privacy then block third party cookies.

you need to use betterprivacy too - for those flash/java based cookies - that's how they really track you.
