Hello,

I have been tolded that my processor can be over clocked to a higher speed.

I currently am running an Epox 8k7a, 512 Megs of Crucial memory ( (2) 256 meg modules (registered) ), Leadtek GForce 2 GTS video card, and have a Valcano 7 cooling the cpu which is a 1.4 Athlon (Stepping AYHJA).... not sure on how to get the max out of it??

I currently have the multiplier set to 11.5 x 133 ...which is 1536... Can it go higher?? And how is the best way to do it?? I was told I could run the FSB at 166 and drop the multiplier?? Not really sure how to do that!! My temps are 41.2c and 45.3c.....

Thanks for any and all input...if I need to supply more info, let me know.

Thanks,

dawbs

in all honesty the volcano 5 has a lot more cooling power than the volcano 7 (what happened to 6?) my current system is running an unlocked ayhja 1400@1630 (163x10.0) Runs like a dream, note this is with pc2700 ddr though, and i had to modify my Vagp to make the video card stable at 4x (geforce 3 ti 500)
