Best way to Overburn CD's?

I tried using nero and setting the overburn to like 83 on 80min C's and won't do anything. do only certain CD's do it, or does it depend on the writer mostly?

the max i burned was around 1 min more. i'm pretty sure it depends on both the writer and cd quality also.
