Best way to offload a bunch of comic books?

pics?
I have a thousand something comic books at my parent's house. Mainly early 80's and early 90's. A lot of X-Men and stuff. All the early Image and Valiant comics. Mostly Marvel.

I don't think any one book is worth a ton on its own. There may be a couple worth $50 - 100 but not sure.

Has anyone offloaded a ton in batch? Should I sell batches on eBay, like all my X-Men, etc? If that efficient?

I can probably post an ad on Craigslist but I just know I'll get a constant stream of asshats offering me $100 to take them off my hands and that they're doing me a favor. The entire collection if probably worth $2000 - 3000.

I would sell the most valuable ones individually. Say, everything work more than $25 or so. Then sell the rest as batches.

If you don't have a local shop then search on ebay and find the ones that are worth the most and sell them. CL is terrible for collector items.
