Best way to mail some hamburgers?

Yeah, I thought it was pretty crazy myself, but he insists on it and wants a crave case. So anybody know what the best way to do it is? I could freeze them, but there are frozen ones already in grocery stores (he wants the cardboard case). I could just zip them up in those airtight bags. I could individually wrap them in ziplocks bags and mail them also. Moisture might be a concern though.

It'll be sent regular mail, not overnight, since it'll cost too much, according to him.

So, any other ideas?

Tell him to call a white castle and ask how much to ship some burgers bulk....about 10lbs worth.

Dry ice + overnight is the only way. I've shipped ice cream before in dry ice, expensive.

That's what I always get when I get a hankerin', lol. What is it, like 6 packages of two in a box? Taste 90% like the ones fresh from the castle.

I live in Alaska. Every now and then I will go out hunting and get a fresh moose/caribou/muskox/bear. Word of my successes quickly reaches my family in Seattle.
From past experience there is no way go get the meat over fast enough. Postal service does no allow liquids to be sent, so I cant just pack up ice. I once tried with tons of insulation that I froze, but that failed as well. If I send overnight UPS that can work though. But as you pointed out, that is expensive.

I'm in the midwest, he's in Seattle. I'm not even sure they have the frozen ones there. He wants the crave box though. Weird. Any more ideas?

Besides Don't? No. Unless you want to kill your friend with rotten meat... Then just pack them anyway you want and send them regular mail. Be sure to drop them off in one of those blue mail boxes in the sun, he'll want them warm.
