Best way to mail a check?

send it by the USPS via REGISTERED mail, wrap it in a sheet of paper, you HAVE to sign to receive a registered letter, if the leave it and you dont someone gets fired, if you arnt home when it comes you have to go to the PO and pick it up

Well, it's a check for a measly $5. I probably should just drive it to the person, its only about 25 minutes away.

I always do the fold a piece of paper in 3rds and then put the check inside of that and make sure you can't see through it. Could use 2 pieces of paper if you want. But yeah, if you have the security type envelopes available to you, use one of those.
