Best way to go from Win 2k to 98se?

I am trying to wipe my hard drive clean and start from scratch with win 98se. I know 2k is better, but I am having a few hardware problems and I don't exactlly have my own copy of 2k. If anyone has advice or a good link, I would really appreciate it. I think I hace to reboot with a c prompt, but I can't figure out how to get there. I tried a boot disk, and tried booting cdrom first with my 98, all I get is failure. I am not the brightest when it comes to computers, thanks for the help.

i just recently did the same thing because of some hardware/game issues. the way i did it was with partition magic. works great at wiping out ntfs partitions.😉

what exactly happens when you do the bootdisk?

If you had your OS drive as NTFS you won't be able to read it. If the rest were, you won't be able to read them as well.

use the boot disk and at the prompt if you get it, do fdisk and wipe out the win2k partition from there, restart and format the C drive and you should be good to go.
