What's the best way to get the maximum cooling out of my case. My temps are decent (CPU = 50C idle, 60C under load) but I'm just curious if I'm doing it the best way. I currently have 2 case fans, one in the back and one on the side. Right now i have the rear fan sucking air into the case and the side fan blowing air out of the case. Is this the best configuration for my setup?

Most people have all rear and top fans exhausting, and all front, side and bottom fans as intake. It's not hard to switch their direction and see how your temps respond, so you might give that a try and see what happens :) I know that with my side-panel fans, they always did the most good when they were set up as intake fans.

A cheap Radio Shack digital thermometer makes a good tool for analyzing cooling, if you want to go to that extent.

Also bringing in cool outside directly to the CPU is an idea. The duct kits that svc.com et al. have can do it. Some cases (generally labeled as air controlled for P4) already have a duct attached to the side door but the duct kits do a much better job.

make sure the incoming airflow and exiting airflow is the same. if it isnt, you'll get pockets of hot air in places in your case. that = teh bad.
