IT for a company with foreign offices.

My ex's dad works for Veritas, and was flying from uk to SoCal about 4 times a year, earning a shed load of mles every time.

For an infrequent flyer, airline mile credit cards are not very good of a choice. You're better off taking a regular cash back card and using the money to buy a low priced ticket.

What are you, 5? You can't even spell gynecology to make a stupid joke (that makes no sense)?

Neither can you.
You're dumb.

No, you are.

Which cc do you currently have and how much cashback does it offer?

I would suggest either:
  • Apply for a CitiBank/AA credit card (select travel rewards)... all frequent flier cc's carry an annual fee which is a turn off for most people. But I use my Bank of America/Alaska Airlines cc to pay for EVERYTHING even my cell phone bill, DSL, car insurance, etc. so I am racking up 800-1200 miles a month. The annual fee will be anywhere from $50 - $85 and you will receive 5,000 or more if your credit application is approved.
  • Apply for a CitiBank or Chase or AAA gas card which has several benefits
No annual fee assuming you make at least 9 purchases per year.
Up to 10% cash rebate for gas purchases in the first 90 days.
Up to 3-5% cash rebate for gas purchases
1% cash rebate for ALL purchases
I have the Chase Perfect Card and have been really happy with it.

Also make sure to read this cc reward thread and take notes.
