best way to get free comps at Vegas

so lets hear some tricks.
Here's one if you play the games at circus circus: break a $100 bill in their office and they will give you a bunch of 2 for 1 tickets.
Do people goto tables and start with lots of cash (like $500 or so) just to up their comp records?

Go to the craps table. You bet pass $500, your wife/partner/friend/whatever bet $500 on no pass. You don't lose money, but you gain $'s played.

When something is given to you for free, it was "comped" i.e. complementary, which is exactly how I read the title, personally.

Agreed. I don't think anyone uses the word "comps" or "comp" to stand for computer. Maybe you do, though Tami.

Best way to get comps in Vegas, obviously, is to use Player's Cards and play in plain sight of the pit bosses. There are no tricks or secrets like there used to be.

go to mirage, go to the bar in the back ( not the one at the waterfall thing ). order a martini (they are huge there!) place one dollar in the video poker and make that dollar last an hour. free drinks!

Best way to get comps is to get a slot club card, and play perfect strategy video poker.

Not necessarily, though. If you lose all your money, they're going to smile as they walk you out. Casino's are in business to make money, not give it away. Now if you're playing $200 hands and winning, then you're going to be treated like a king, invited to stay in a luxurious room and stuff so you'll stay and play longer, potentially losing the money that the casino just lost to you.
