Best way to edit an Acrobat document?

I have Adobe Writer and am trying to fill out an application done in acrobat. There are no text boxes for answers and I want to insert my own text, but can't figure it out. Can I do this, or if not is there a better way? I tried converting to Word but the format didn't save.

Is Adobe Writer the same as Acrobat Pro? I looked at Adobe's website but couldn't find it. With Acrobat, you can just add your own text boxes.

some pdf's are setup with text boxes, some aren't. Sounds like you have one that was not setup with text boxes. Gotta do what The_Good_Guy said.

I thought tamper resistant was one of the key features of PDF documents?
