Best way to dispose of 5 1/4 disk

My father died and left a whole box of 5 1/4 inch disk full of personal information. Of course we no longer have a computer that can read them. I'm looking at getting rid of them but do not know the best way to do so.

Thanks

Take the magnetic part out and run it through a standard paper shredder, if you have one, or cut it into pieces with scissors, or burn it.

Sorry for your family's loss, btw
