Best way to connect 4 devices separated by 2 rooms

I thought I would start a new post based on a previous question I had. Here is my setup:
2nd floor - computer A & B and DSL modem (same room)
1st floor - computer C and PS2 (same room)
None of the computers have built-in wireless capabilities

I would like to have all 4 devices share the internet connection and for the three computers to share files among each other and play games.

What is the best way to set this up? I assume that a wireless router for the 2nd floor would be the best option since it can connect to the internet and wire computers A & B together. But what is the best way to connect computer C and the PS2? Should I use a second wireless router (is that even possible?), a wireless access point, a wireless gaming adaptor (plus a switch), something else?

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

Rich

Although, I personally don't like wireless internet (can be slow) it would definitely work in your case. get a wireless router and put it in the 2nd floor room. Connect the modem, A, and B with cat5 (so it isn't wireless). Then, buy wireless network adapters for your ps2 and downstairs computer and you are good to go. Here is a link on what to do with your PS2

Order up 4 Cat 5e jacks, 2 dual port wall box, an appropriate length of Cat 5e cable, a cable stripper, and a punch tool. Wire to suit.

Personally, I pick a location in the house - usually the basement - and run Cat 5e lengths to it. The hub, firewall, and DSL modem sit right by the patch panel.
