In a sort of dorm room... I have the room to myself, and the bathroom to myself. There are some corners that are just kinda grungy. Anyone know a good way to really clean/sterilize the stall?

Getting it all dirty in there by yourself? I would reccomend getting it really clean, with some heavy duty cleaner for bathroom tile. Then get some of that stuff you spray on the inside after you shower. And don't forget to give it a good scrubbing once a week. That works for me at home and keeps the mold away, which grows there SUPER fast, especially on bread. :(

My fridge works fine for the bread... damn the lazy custodians...

Tilex for mildew stains....Shower Power for soap scum. The least labor-intensive products I've found.

Don't use them at the same time, of course....

Just hit it with the Comet. That'll get it clean. And like was suggested, get some of the sutff you spray on after you shower. We use it here in the apartment. Helps a lot.

from some guy I saw on PBS:

1 tbs ammonia
3/4 cup water
1 tsp water softener
1 tbs white vinegar
old toothbrush

I've yet to try it, but it worked like magic on tv !

Bleach or vinegar work well on mildew & same as Tilex. Use ammonia or CLR if you have hard water stain.

A good general purpose for tile, plastic & fiberglass is T&L cleaner for pool & hot tub.
