So I have had this computer for about 4 years and just a lot of junk has built up on it and it seems to be running slower then it should. I have done all the systems tools things, but was thinking of backing everything important up and just formatting it and starting over.

but before i do that i thought i would check if there is any good programs to clean all the useless stuff off and just leaving the file main programs...I know nothing is good as a format, but just wanted to see if there was something people use to clean useless junk off their computer

ccleaner.com is a great little cleaning tool. You can also reinstall windows overtop the current installation if you want to keep your programs installed... but you lose most of the benefits of a clean install so I wouldn't bother as long as it's still working.
