best way to clean a dvd?

my version of GTA San Andreas keeps saying that the disc is dirty...what method do you guys find is the best way to clean a disc?

a damp cloth.

just wash it off with water and dry with a soft cloth

Damp cloth. Wipe from the center to the edge. Do not wipe in a circular path around the disc, or any scratches made will distract the laser.

heck you can use soap and water if its dirty, just try not to scratch it.

I use the cloth that I use to clean my glasses. Its soft and when used gently, it doesn't leave any scratches.

Dishwasher. Put all your CD's and DVD's in there ant put it on Potscrubber. Gets em squeaky clean.

I just throw them in the washing machine.
