Best way to calibrate new monitor

Hi folks. I just received my new Mitsubishi DP 2070SB and I was wondering what the best way is to calibrate it perfectly. It looks absolutely stunning right now, but I know there has to a way to tweak it to perfection. Are there any free programs out there that can calibrate monitors? Any tips? Thanks. 🙂

Depends on your purposes for calibrating. If you want to make sure you are set to true color and illumination, you will want a program like the spyder. It was a usb device which for calibrations purposes only, sticks to the middle of your monitor, taking proper reading as so that you can make the correct adjustments.

Photographer use this program to make sure their color adjustments in photoshop, etc, are on the money.

Naviset, it is simple to use and understand. Also dl the .inf file for the 2070, no wait....naviset installs the .inf file. DL Naviset and install it.

why don't you just use sRGB profile? look like 2070SB supports it. Should bee good enough for the average bear.
