I'm in sort of a unique situation with buying airfare. I'm going Dallas -> Anchorage -> Brisbane -> Seoul -> Dallas. I've tried priceline, and got a price of about $6500. I remember looking it up before, and it being cheaper. Can anyone give me some pointers on buying a ridiculous ticket like this? Should I split it up? Thanks.

Ya know, I just got off work and might still be dumb from dealing with stupid people all day, but what did the word porn in the topic have to do with anything?

EDIT: Ninja edit, nice.

Wait, I'm confused. Are you trying to get to Korea or are you going to stop in Australia and then go to Korea?

Try kayak.com, I use it and it works good. Thats a long timeframe though, which could be driving up the price. There's another site I saw awhile back that I can't think of now thats good for long travel plans.

I flew Houston -> Beijing -> Tokyo -> Houston

I had a lot of luck with a travel agent. I thought I would most likely never use one but a friend recommended one and it was way cheaper than stuff like travelocity. Also, kayak.com, as others have stated, can be very good.

airtreks.com specializes in multi-stop trips like that. i've used them before and found the prices and service pretty good.
