Best way to block kazaa upload port ??

I would like to know what the best way to block kazaa upload port, I blocked udp 1214 and uploads can still get through (if tcp then downloads cant get through). I know you can disable sharing, But this is for blocking LAN access to that port. I would like to block it so that downloading would still be possible.

Heh. That's gotta be against the software license of Kazaa - don't they restrict bandwidth based on the number of files you allow to be uploaded?

I have the distinct feeling this question borders on the illegal.

Using Kazaa for what most people use Kazaa for is illegal, whether you upload, download, or both. Nevertheless, you should be using Kazaa Lite (google it to find a download link). To answer your question: unfortunately, the options dialog can help you here, but if you do enable those settings, you're defeating the purpose of file sharing to begin with. Now, of course, you're only sharing legal files that are "copylefted," right? :frown:

This is not for my use, this is to block uploading to conserv network performance... Uploading affects overall latency, downloading does not. So someone please give me a way to do this.
