Best way to back up a Raid 0 Array?

Im going to be running (2) HITACHI Deskstar 160GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache Serial ATA II Hard Drives in a Raid 0 array, and basically i want to know the best way to back up the whole drive so that if it crashes i can just reload everything off the old drive?

i was thinking of just getting a cheap ATA drive ($50 or $60) and using it backup information on, but the only problem i see is if i reboot to windows using he ATA drive (assuming the Raid 0 fails) how easy is it to mirror everything back onto a Raid 0 array (ie, when the raid crashes, i boot up with the ata drive then move everything (including windows) onto the raid array)???

I would consider using an external backup drive, or just use a program like Norton Ghost, and backup that data to DVD.

Thats actually what i was trying to get at but failed to ask, a good application to backup my harddrives with

Would that be the best program to use to backup my array to another drive (whether it be usb or ata)??
and how easy is it to set everything back up if my array does fail?
 
Well, I prefer using Norton Ghost for doing RAID. I used two other programs before, and they crashed like crazy. Granted, I was using a 1TB JBOD array, and a 200GB RAID 1 array, all on an PCI-X RAID controller (I don't know if that matters...). But Ghost is what worked the best for me. I've heard of people having problems with SATA though, so I haven't tried that part yet... I can do it at home though now, so if you need to, I'll optest that for ya.

well i guess the baseline i want to establish is, regardless of whether i get a USB drive or a cheap ATA drive, there is an easy way (Ghost, at least) to backup my Array, and if need be, recover it???
 
Yes, you can use Ghost regardless if you have a USB / Firewire (prefereably the later) or internal drive.
