In your experience, what's the best way to acquire good habits?

For example, I want to get up early to work in the quiet early morning. This I do for a couple of days. Then, something happens that I stay up most of the night, throwing off my system. Afterwards, it's not so easy to get back into getting up early.

However, sleeping late is a habit that I could acquire in like one day flat.

Will power alone? Reward system? Buddy system? What?

Go to bed early. To do this. Unplug your tv and rip the mointor cable out after every use. You would be surprised how early you go to bed when there is no reason to stay up :/

i'd say will power and desire to actually acquire good habits are most important.

as far as waking up early, try to go to sleep at the same time every night and wake up at the same time every morning.

Will power alone is hopefully enough. Just take it one day at a time and realize that before long you won't even think twice about it.
