Best Way Carry Money on a Trip

we use credit cards mostly, but we also bring some cash. If i feel unsafe, i will get a box of tampons (with applicator, not to get too graphic) but take the tampon out of the aplicator and then roll up bills and then reseal them and put them back in the box!

Buy a cheap wallet and put a small amount of money in it. Carry all IDs and cash in your front pocket. Works great if you get mugged, all they care about is getting your wallet.

where would be the best place to get a money belt? i think that would be the best option for my buddy, he'd rather carry an amount of money than have "unlimited" power with his CC and Debit -_-
