Best water proof glue?

Don't know off the top of my head if it's usable on plastic, but Gorilla Glue is good stuff. You can find it pretty much anywhere that would sell that sort of thing.

I seen that advertised in magazines but didn't know they sold it in stores. Would Wal-Mart have it? Is it water proof?

EDIT: just found a web site for it. Sounds like good stuff. Will have to see if I can locate some.

ace hardware sells gorilla glue.

rubber cement is always good. not sure how well it holds under water.
if its pvc plastic your using u can use pvc glue (obviously) and that stuff is the bomb.

Gorilla Glue is not fast curing.

Maybe some sort of two part marine epoxy. Go check it out at Home Depot or Lowe's.

How about some JB Weld epoxy?

Is that water proof? How fast does it dry?

They have different types, but JB Kwik sets in 4 minutes and is waterproof.

thats sounds like it might work. Wonder how well it will work on plastics?

Well, I've used this stuff on just about everything, and it has never failed me. When it's dry it's as hard as steel and the bond is good and strong. You can paint it, sand it, drill it, whatever you need once it's dry.

Hmmm Liquid Nails doesn't sound bad either. Has anyone tried both JB Weld and Liquid Nails on plastic? Wonder which would work best on plastic?
