best Vista sound card?

Just did a clean install of Vista Ultimate on my PC and found out the hard way that my original SoundMax sound card is not supported.

Does anyone have a recommendation for an inexpensive sound card that works reliably with Vista? I basically just listen to music, YouTube, etc. (no TV, no gaming).
