And:
Chameleon Twist (N64) (Japenese game with a relatively small English launch, I think I rented then later bought the only copy in my region, but it has the BEST multiplayer I have EVER played, the sequel is pretty good too, just no multiplayer)
Mario Party (N64) (the handblistering original)
Quest 64 (N64) (Amazing RPG, deserves a sequel)
Mario Kart 64 (N64)
Super Mario Bros. 3 (NES)
Super Mario World (SNES)
Super Mario 64 (N64)
SimTower (PC)

That IS my childhood.

EDIT: Now that I think about it, the best time of my life were with the N64. Screw Halo parties... Ill take an hour of Mario Kart back in fall '96. I cant believe its been almost 9 years.... That things still running strong...

Unless I missed it, not one mention of Metroid. Super Metroid and Metroid: Prime own all!

Metroid: Zero Mission was pretty awesome as well. Who wouldn't love playing through the original Metroid with all the improvements from Super Metroid, and then some?

WTF is that??

Sidescrolling shooter made by a company called Apogee. I think they also made BioHazard, the precursor to Resident Evil. And various other sidescrolling shooters...

I'd have to say Zelda. When that came out for NES, nothing was like it. While the graphics can't compare to the games nowadays, the fun factor was better, IMO.

Another great one is Metroid.

For recent games, the Command&Conquer series owns all.
