Best video editing software?

I'm just curious, what does everyone think is the best video editing software available.

It may depend on your needs and learning curve ability.
I personnaly use Adobe Premier 6.5, but from what I heard Premier Pro has much more enhancement and an all in one package for a good price. Learning curve for this is quite high
Another one that I used to use is Pinnacle Studio 9, has eisier to use interface for the novice, and easier on the pocket but lesser functionality than Premier. One problem with this software is that you will have to pay for additional functions (i.e. additional title fonts, transitions,etc). Good luck

Premiere pro, lot of online docs and tutorials

I use virtualdubmod (it's free). It is pretty easy to use and has some nice features.

"Best" is pretty subjective depending on your workflow and source material, but Avid Xpress Pro for the PC and Final Cut Studio pro for Mac are pretty standard fare.

I like Sony Vegas myself on the PC, and Adobe Premiere Pro has a large user base as well.

Pinnacle Studio and Ulead Videostudio are decent consumer level editors usually bundled with video hardware.

I wanna link to a website but the darn thing keeps saying I have censored words in the text.

Anyway, at (dirtywebsite.com) they have the Ulead studio for $795.
They used to have the full Adobe Premier, Encore and Audition package for 600 bucks.
I guess they ran out of them.

Preimere 6.5 is my favorite but Pro version only work with Windows XP.
