Looking to update my graphics card drivers for my laptop, it has a Radeon Xpress 200M chipset. Gamma is too dark playing ut2004, can hardly see anything. This "dark gamma" problem in games plagued a number of various ATI drivers.
Can I just download and install the regular Radeon driver packages, or do I need a special one for laptop chipset? Omega drivers perhaps?
Edit: Interestingly, I went to ati, support, graphics drivers, selected windows XP, Xpress 200M, and it led me to a page for the cat 8.7 download for IGP drivers!
I also saw in another post a reference to "mobility modder", a program to mod the standard cat releases to work with mobile chipsets. I'm exploring that option now.
