Best Video Card under $30?

The old TNT2-based video card in my old computer died, so I need to get a cheap replacement to tide me over while I'm building my new computer. I don't want to waste a bunch of money on this machine, so what video card would you recommend for under $30? I don't do much gaming on it, just basic web browsing and e-mail.

If you guys know of any bargains out there, let me know!

I'd avoid an nVidia card to be quite frank.

Unless you know the specific model and brand to buy, the 2D quality may be terrible. Indeed, if I had to gamble, I'd take a Rage 128 over a Geforce2 MX simply because with the Rage 128 I'd be guaranteed very good (although not necessarily excellent) 2D, even knowing that 3D performance would be suck with it.

oh yeah, i just saw the part where u said u do not do much gaming. opps. yes i would go for a rage card... i've seen them in the $10 range 🙂 or if u look and scrap... u could land a radeon le for $25.
