maybe you can try and find a 6600GT used somewhere in the forums under the FS/FT section? I'm trying to sell my 6600GT for around $85, but unfortunately it's PCIe. The 6600GT is probably about 3X faster than the 6600LE you're looking at.

All the new games for $83? How about delaying the purchase of one of the new $50 games, and applying that to the video card, thereby getting better performance in all the games?

Best bet is like they say, go to the FS/FT forums and see if you can find a deal on a better card. The cards you listed will get you by for now but you will probably not like the results.. especially on the newer games.

6800 AGP version (I have PCI-e)...you can easily unlock the AGP version and get even more performance than me.

I did an autooverclock from 325/600 to 432/825 stable and it has room for more. I had a 187 3dMark06 with my ATI x300 128mb, went up to 1452 with the 6800XT, then 1920 after I overclocked it. I can now run BF2 1680x1050 medium details 4xaa at 30-60fps.

If you live in SoCAL at los angeles county. I have a chaintech 6600 AGP 256 megs (I overclocked it, and it's fine) in perfect condition. I'll sellin' it for 70 bucks.
